Goat Simulator 3, in its typical fashion, doesn't attempt subtlety when it comes to the Easter eggs and nods to other famous games that it includes in the title. This much is abundantly clear from the start, with players experiencing an opening sequence reminiscent of Bethesda's Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

While many of the references are plastered as clear as day for players to spot, some of them require some digging to find and appreciate. One such reference, a nod to the Call of Duty franchise, is a little better hidden than others. As such, this guide will show you how to complete Pay Respect in Goat Simulator 3 so you can continue earning karma points and destroy everything with flair.

How To Start Pay Respect in Goat Simulator 3

The location of Blumehill Cemetary in Goat Simulator 3

To trigger the Pay Respect side quest in Goat Simulator 3, players must first approach a specific grave site in one of the game's more somber locations. The gravesite in question can be found at Brumehill Cemetary, right near the church, where you can also complete the Imperial Mausoleum quest.

From the entrance to the church, you will need to venture to the left and through the gate to a small cluster of graves. The first grave on the left will have a cross on top of it — simply approach it and press the indicated button to pay respects to the person who has passed away. This will trigger the dead person's ghost to rise from the grave to greet you.

How To Complete Pay Respect Quest in Goat Simulator 3

After paying respects to the first grave, players will need to find the other two that bear the same cross symbol. Thankfully, the site is a relatively small one, so it isn't overly difficult to spot them.

To get to the second grave, players will need to turn right from the gate where the first grave is, and venture with their goat down the short flight of stairs to the ground below. Once at the bottom of the stairs, turn right, and press the indicated button to pay respects to the second grave on the right.

The third and final grave is a little trickier to find, but is by no means tough to spot. From the second grave, turn right and head in a straight line toward the opposite side of the site, where you will find an enormous hole in the ground. Jump down into the ditch and you will find the final grave. Once you interact with it, the quest will be marked as complete.

As a reward for completing Pay Respect, the church doors will be open, from which you can grab a new cosmetic for your goat. It will also make a gym available, where another quest, Fit For The Cross, can be completed.
