One God of War Ragnarok player went online to share a hilarious clip, which shows an enemy continuously rolling away from Kratos after being hit by his shield. God of War Ragnarok initially launched back in November 2022, and serves as the highly anticipated follow-up to 2018's God of War. While the game manages to successfully continue the rebooted PlayStation franchise, it does have some notable bugs that can produce hilarious outcomes. One such example is a bug that had Atreus trapped in a bizarre loop while moving between platforms.
While most of the bugs in God of War Ragnarok are harmless like the aforementioned Atreus glitch, others have been quite frustrating, such as one that causes King Hrolf Kraki to disappear mid-fight. One player went online to share a hilarious bug that occurred while they were fighting one of the game's werewolves, known as wulvers. The bug in question serves as another example of God of War Ragnarok's combat producing unusual and hilarious results.
Reddit user Refract_Tv shared the brief clip that shows a wulver constantly rolling after being bashed by Kratos' shield, with the Redditor asking if Kratos' new ability is overpowered as a joke. Usually the shield-bash attack knocks enemies back and allows for Kratos to get a few hits in, but in Refract_Tv's clip, the wulver rolls backwards and over an ice wall before cartwheeling into the air and landing in water. The clip also has a cartoonish soundtrack attached, adding even more hilarity to the confusing God of War Ragnarok bug. Commenters on Refract_Tv's post shared their thoughts regarding the six-second clip, as well as some confusion as to what exactly they witnessed.
One commenter jokingly wrote that they thought Refract_Tv was fighting Spider-Man for a second, poking fun at how the wulver dramatically flew into the air unprompted. Other people replying to Refract_Tv's post mentioned that they've also been having similar bugs since the release of the game's new game plus mode, added in a recent God of War Ragnarok update.
While God of War Ragnarok has an impressive amount of detail dispersed in the various realms that players can explore, sometimes the game can have unexpected bugs pop up during the course of fans' playthroughs. Most of the time these bugs are hilarious, such as one that causes Brok to have a violent outburst, but some bugs have left God of War fans a bit disappointed. Luckily God of War Ragnarok's bugs are typically resolved quickly, allowing players to continue their journey across the nine realms glitch free.
God of War Ragnarok is available now on PS4, and PS5.
