There are two types of Runic attacks that players can collect for all weapons in God of War Ragnarok. The first is the Light Runic attack, whereas the second one is the Heavy Runic attack. Some will be rewarded during The Path and others are obtained from completing side quests.
The Leviathan Axe has five Light Runic attacks in God of War Ragnarok. Each attack has a cooldown as well as a Damage, Frost, and Stun meter. Upgrading the latter requires spending some Kratos XP. The Light Runic attack has three levels and every attack requires a specific amount of XP to level up.
