According to leaker HipHopGamer, GTA 6 might have a custom music mode similar to the one seen in ESPN NFL 2K5. This feature allowed players to assign chosen tracks to specific in-game moments, adding an extra level of customization to the experience. Of course, such bold claims should be taken with a grain of salt, but a custom music mode would be right at home in GTA 6.

Over the years, each GTA game has featured a story embroiled in crime and wild antics, but what drives each narrative even further are the music selections. Whether a player loves to casually cruise down the streets of Los Santos while listening to "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty or getting pumped up for GTA 6 all over again by watching the first trailer as Tom Petty's "Love is a Long Road" sets the scene, music remains the heart of the series. Not every GTA 6 rumor can be trusted, but a custom music mode makes so much sense that it's easy to believe.

With Priest and Ike signing rap duo Real Dimez to the label, there are bound to be plenty of side plots involving the difficulties of trying to get a music career and business off the ground. GTA Online has already dabbled in a music-based mission with its Dr. Dre chapter, which was likely the testing ground for Only Raw Records' place in GTA 6's story.

GTA 6's story is led by Jason and Lucia, who are reportedly inspired by Bonnie and Clyde.
