Although status effects and illnesses after being wounded can be annoying, this feature makes Gray Zone Warfare realistic and forces players to take a more cautious approach to the gameplay. You can easily cure effects like Nausea and Dizziness simply by resting a little or drinking water, but it's a little more complicated if you've broken your bones.

A broken arm will make it difficult to aim and shoot, and a broken leg will significantly reduce your movement speed, but sometimes you can get several serious injuries at the same time. Luckily, fixing Bone Fractures in Gray Zone Warfare is still a relatively simple process, and we are here to help you with that.

Gray Zone Warfare Dev Details the Upcoming Tactical FPS Game's Story, Lore, And Quest Design

The Best War Games speaks with one Gray Zone Warfare dev regarding the upcoming tactical shooter's approach to storytelling, lore, and quest design.

How To Cure Bone Fractures in Gray Zone Warfare

Gray Zone Warfare Splint

The only way to fix Bone Fractures while fighting in Gray Zone Warfare is to use Splint. You only need to open your inventory, right-click on Splint, and select Use, after which your character will automatically use it to heal the fracture. Note that this process takes quite a lot of time, so you should first find a safe place where enemy bullets will not reach you.

It is worth noting that the game doesn't limit you to just one fracture; you can get two or more at a time, and each requires one Splint charge. Open your character menu to see all broken bones highlighted in red. For example, if you jump from a great height, you can break two legs at once. Or if several bullets hit your hands, you can get two broken hands. When starting healing, you cannot choose which bone you want to fix, so your character does it in a random order. Therefore, it is better to always have several Splints with you at once.

Gray Zone Warfare Interview: Dev Details Gameplay Systems, Crossplay Plans, and Much, Much More

In an interview, The Best War Games talks with Gray Zone Warfare creative director Marek Rabas about everything from story and influences to future plans.

Fortunately, the basic Splint received by players after purchasing the game has as many as five charges, which will allow you to heal as many as five fractures. In addition, there are two to three consumables of this type in your locker, so this will be enough for the first time. If you want more, you can buy Civilian-Quality Splints for $8 by visiting Lab Rat. This consumable only has three charges, but by completing Lab Rat quests, you can unlock much more effective variants of it.

Finally, it is worth adding that the low price of Splints makes this resource extremely easy to access, and Bone Fractures are not so scary. But if you want to save Splint charges, all you need to do is call the Helicopter and return safely to base. After that, select Safely End Deployment and log into the game again. This method will cure all your diseases without any medicine.
