How to Complete the Negotiator Task in Gray Zone Warfare

Whether you are playing alone or in a squad, to begin the task, you must first head over to the YBL-1 zone. This is where all the action for the task will take place. Once in the area, begin to eliminate any enemies that might be patrolling. Also, be on the lookout for other players who might just be in the vicinity, just in case someone has an itchy trigger finger.

The point of all the killing is to obtain the YBL-1 Office 02 Key, which will be dropped at random by any defeated enemies. There is no direct way of knowing which foe has the key, so your best bet is to sweep the area clean and start looting. Having backup will make things easier, especially when it comes to keeping each other alive. With the key now in hand, head to the barracks that can be found in L-MA2. Go down the stairs and then head towards the left. Go past the rooms and enter the second door on the right, where more stairs can be found.

After descending the stairs to level -2, enter the room and you will find a locked door with Office text on the wall. Use the YBL-1 Office 02 key to unlock the door. Once inside, players will come face to face with the supposed negotiator, who has breathed his last breath. Confirm the identity of the deceased individual within, and the Negotiator task will now be completed. Be sure to check the task menu for the green indicator, and you can move on to the next task.
