All Secret Weapons in Grounded 2 (& Where to Find Them)

Secret weapons in Grounded 2 are unique variants of existing weapons that offer a special effect that’s exclusive to them. Typically, secret weapons are considered one-of-one, with only a single instance of said item existing in a single world of Grounded 2. Additionally, these items can only be claimed once per world, meaning players in a shared world can only pick and choose. The only way to obtain these weapons is by unearthing them from their hiding spot.

While special weapons aren’t necessarily better than craftable weapons, they offer unique effects that cannot be achieved from crafted variants. For those looking to spice up their playthrough with a new, unique weapon, here’s how to obtain all of them.

Bushwacker

Tier 2 Bow

Requirement: Orb Weaver Buggy
Location: Pine Hill

Travel to the Pine Hill area in the top left corner of the map. Enter the western hedge from the entrance shown in the map above. Climb on the tree root in front of you and immediately jump to the root just behind it. Climb this second root, and it will lead you outside the hedge, circling around to a hidden section of the hedge.

Use the web bridges interwoven between the tree branches to climb to the very top, and you’ll find a yellow leaf with a chest on it. Open the chest to find the Bushwacker.

Crimson Avenger

Tier 2 One-Handed Sword

Requirement: Tier 2 Shovel, Red Soldier Ant Buggy
Location: Spider Den Anthill (Pine Hill)

Locate the Spider Den Anthill: Southern Entrance in the Pine Hill area; it can be found directly in the middle of a huge spider nest. Enter the Anthill and follow the path straight down without making any turns. Eventually, you’ll enter the Memorial Crate, a wooden box with various interesting items.

In one of the corners of this crate is a piece of Chewing Gum with the Crimson Avenger stuck inside. Use a Tier 2 Shovel to dig out the Crimson Avenger from the Chewing Gum. You can use Spider Den Anthill: Northern Entrance to access this area as well, but the journey is longer and there is a Wolf Spider guarding the entrance.

Grounded 2: All Creatures & Their Loot

There are many creatures in Grounded 2, most of whom are insects, but there are also arachnids and mollusks. Each of these can be killed for loot.

Scarlet Aegis

Tier 2 Shield

Requirement: Bratburst (Any Explosive), Red Soldier Ant Buggy
Location: Ceremony

Between the Lectern and the Ceremony Boulder lies a small cave infested with Northern Scorpions. At the end of this cave is a cracked wall that can be broken through using a Bratburst bomb. Doing so will reveal a hidden chamber with a chest containing the Scarlet Aegis, as well as some other goodies.

The cave is also filled with Quartzite and Marble deposits, both of Brittle and Sturdy levels. Naturally, mining the Sturdy deposits requires a level 2 Hammer.

Pinch Wacker

Tier 2 One-Handed Club

Requirement: Bratburst (Any Bomb)
Location: Fire Pit

In the northern section of the Fire Pit area is a hidden cave just to the east of the purple soda can. Inside, there is a cracked rock that can be broken through using a Bratburst bomb.

After the wall is broken, the Pinch Wacker can be found on a purple chair, alongside a Mega Milk Molar and a resource chest.

Grounded 2: All Omni-Tool Upgrades

Omni-Tool is one of the most helpful items in Grounded 2 as it can act as an axe, a hammer, a wrench, and a shovel, here's all the upgrades for it.

Gloom Skewer

Tier 2 Spear

Requirement: Tier 2 Axe, Gas Mask
Location: Toxic Anthill (Snackbar Front)

Underneath the Toxic Anthill are winding tunnels filled with toxic chemicals and crawling with cockroaches. Use a Gas Mask to gain immunity to the toxic environment and keep going down. Eventually, you’ll find the Cockroach Queen boss arena.

After defeating the Cockroach Queen, you’ll see a group of mushrooms with a dead Ominent worker just in front of them. Chop down the Mushroom stalks using a Tier 2 Axe and pick up the Gloom Skewer from the cave.

Heatwave

Tier 2 Candy Staff

Requirement: Tier 2 Hammer, Sizzle Reduction Gear
Location: Fire Pit

Heatwave is located right in the middle of the Fire Pit, which can be entered by climbing on top of the green soldiers at the Melted Army Men point of interest (POI). Inside, circle around the wood in the fire pit until you see the mouth of the action figure burning in the center. Destroy the two Charcoal pieces to unblock the way and crouch to grab Heatwave from inside the mouth.

Use the rusty nail on the far wall to jump out of the fire pit, allowing the Sizzle buildup to dissipate naturally. Use smoothies as needed to keep your health up and avoid burning to death. There is a Bombardier Beetle roaming the inside edge of the Fire Pit, and it's advisable to deal with this threat before going for Heatwave, as it can easily ambush the player while they are running away.
