The Omni-Wrench is one of the four main variants of the Omni-Tool in Grounded 2, allowing players to repair structures if they end being damaged by an enemy attack or a swarm.
Unlocking the Omni-Wrench is quite easy if you know where to go and what to look for, but for those who aren’t familiar with the world of Grounded 2 and how it functions, finding the required materials can be challenging.
How to Make the Omni-Wrench
The Omni-Wrench can be crafted at any Ranger Station with the following materials.
- Raw Science x1,000
- Clay x2
- Red Ant Part x2
Ranger Stations can be found all over the map, but the very first one players will encounter is in the Snackbar area during the main mission.
The most straightforward way to obtain Raw Science in the early game is by completing Ranger Challenges.
How to Get Clay
Clay can be obtained using the Omni-Shovel on Clay deposits. Clay deposits can be found in wet, damp locations like near ponds of water or in damp underground caves throughout Brookhollow Park. In the early game, Clay deposits can be found in the area behind the Ranger Station: Snackbar, underneath the tree roots just to the left of the broken window behind the Ranger Station. Another two deposits can be found near the pond that you can get to by following the tunnel in this area deeper, which returns you back to the main park.
The Omni-Shovel in Grounded 2 is not unlocked by default; you’ll have to purchase this upgrade at a Ranger Station.
How to Get Red Ant Parts
Red Ants drop Red Ant Parts when killed. The most convenient location to encounter Red Ant is at an anthill, where multitudes of them spawn. The easiest anthill to get to is the Snackbar Anthill, found just north of the Ominent Onboarding Facility, where your character in Grounded 2 wakes up for the first time.
Red Ants are non-hostile by default, meaning players are free to start the encounter by charging up a powerful attack every time they engage.
