The new environmental effect 'Tang' Corrosion is a super harsh thing to deal with as players explore the Garden Patch zone in Grounded 2: The Toxic Tangle. Some of them might now be having a hard time dealing with it, since they cannot clear out this annoying effect, preventing them from exploring all the new zones of Brookhollow Park.
Here in this guide, players will learn how to deal with Tang Corrosion zones in the Garden Biome, as well as how increase their resistance to Tang. Maybe even pick up the tricks to harness its power to destroy all hostile bugs in the Garden Biome.
Grounded 2: Best Mage Build
Mages in Grounded 2 rely on Candy Staves to deal elemental damage and status buildup on their enemies, and are able to engage from a distance.
How to Clear Tang Corrosion Puddles in Grounded 2 The Toxic Tangle
Sour Tang Corrosion is the new elemental effect that Grounded 2 players need to be looking out for in the Toxic Tangle DLC, and it looks like a fizzling green goo that lies around the garden floor and in some critical areas, like Ominent labs.
As players can see in the images above, it's not just there to look pretty: It's a new environmental challenge to 'beat,' and there are three ways to deal with it: Avoid it, clear it, or build up resistance against it.
To Clear Tang Corrosion Puddles in Grounded 2, players will need the new Ladybug Buggy, which can be obtained by unlocking the Ladybug Nest and hatching a Ladybug Egg in the Hatchery.
The Ladybugg Bugie comes with a mounted turret cannon that splashes water, and it's ideal to take down various insects, including Potato Beetles and the annoying Earwigs. And it's that water cannon which can be used to clear Sour Tang puddles.
Just aim the cannon and shoot at the puddle to disperse it, but remember: The Ladybug Buggy turret has 120 charges, and they need to be recharged using water puddles, so keep that in mind before going nuts with the water cannon.
How to Deal with Tang Buildup in Grounded 2
Players can also build up Sour Tang resistance with the Sour Sensation mutation. Remember that only a limited number of Mutations can be active at the same time (except for Passive Mutations, which are always active). The Potato Beeltle armor set also helps deal with the Tang buildup thanks to its Tangy Purification perk.
Finally, players can also use the Chrysalys Bandage, fabricated using Chrysalys leather and Cactus Petal to neutralize Tang Buildup, as well as to recover Health in the process.
