Grounded Moldy Hoagie Recipe

The Grounded character found the Moldy Note, a recipe for the Moldy Hoagie.

The Moldy Hoagie is more of an end game item that is required to spawn the end game boss, the Infected Broodmother when you're in her lair. This boss can be found near the Haze Lab. When you're facing the doorway, veer to your right and walk past the lantern until you reach a hole in the ground. Jump down into the hole and to your left will be a tunnel. This tunnel will be blocked by webbing if you haven't fixed the Haze Canister. Fixing the Haze Canister with gum is one step that will also help you get the Haze Lab Burgl Chip in Grounded.

Stay aware of the exploding spores in this tunnel, then veer to your left when you get to the main chamber. Here, there will be a summoning station which will need the Moldy Hoagie recipe. To get this recipe, you will have to save Wendell. After you save Wendell, head to Castle Moldorc. To get inside, you can either build a bridge or climb the fence. Keep in mind it will be dangerous, especially with mosquitoes lurking around.

Once you're inside, drop into the crack you see in the floor. It's recommended you have a dandelion tuft as it is a steep drop. After the initial drop, head into the darkness on your left and use the dandelion tuft to drop to the lower level. Head through the doorway in the O.R.C building, and you'll see papers on the middle table. Grab the Moldy Note which reveals the secret recipe for the Moldy Hoagie.

This recipe can be quite expensive and tedious to retrieve all the required ingredients. You will have to defeat multiple enemies in order to make the Moldy Hoagie, so don't forget to craft the best weapons in Grounded to speed through it. Instead of grinding to get all of these ingredients every time you need a Moldy Hoagie, it's recommended that you just duplicate one Moldy Hoagie, which is a good way to farm this item as well.

To duplicate it, it will cost roughly 1,000 Raw Science. These items, such as toenails in Grounded, are pretty gross but useful in many recipes. Once you receive the following items, you can make the Moldy Hoagie inside an oven.
