Following the Corrupted Event, Grow a Garden just dropped a flavorful new update, this time centered around cooking. Along with the trading system, players now get to join a short cooking quest packed with tasty and, of course, pretty lucrative rewards.

You can now prepare meals and toss them in for prizes of different rarities, including the unique Gourmet Egg, Gourmet Seed Pack, and more. The event runs for seven days, from August 2 to August 9. Here’s what the Cooking event brings to Grow a Garden and how to make the most of it.

Chris P.'S Kitchen Quest

This time, Jandel introduced a new NPC named Chris P., a critter chef hanging out on the event platform. He asks for food every hour, and it’s your job to cook something delicious for him.

To start cooking, head over to the Cooking Station near Chris P.’s kitchen stand. Hold your ingredients, add them to the pot, and hit “Cook.” There are 12 recipes in total. Basic fruits (lightweight and low rarity) usually give common rewards, but rare ones might score you something from the top-tier pool.
