Many interesting Grand Theft Auto 6 details have been discovered thanks to fans analyzing the trailer. Small details have hinted at what fans can expect from the final product in terms of realism, like how Lucia's seat moves when she shifts her weight in the car. The newest detail discovered in the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has revealed an Easter egg that calls back to Rockstar's Red Dead Online game.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Could Be Skipping PC at Launch
Rockstar hints that GTA 6 will be skipping PC at launch shortly after being forced to reveal the much-anticipated game earlier than planned.
Reddit user elnathh has pointed out that the face sticker on the convenience store door in the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer is based on Everett Morgan from Red Dead Online. The Reddit post features both the sticker on the door alongside a Wanted poster for Morgan, proving that the sticker is the spitting image of the outlaw. Morgan's Wanted poster states that he is wanted for a recent train robbery that resulted in the death of a train conductor. Since Lucia and her partner are in the midst of a robbery themselves at the point in the trailer where the sticker appears, it's fitting that Morgan is represented.
For those that only played Red Dead Redemption 2's single-player story mode, Red Dead Online is the multiplayer component of Rockstar's massive open world western. Everett Morgan is a potential bounty target in Red Dead Online, but isn't a particularly important character. It's possible that Morgan's face appearing in Grand Theft Auto 6 is just a matter of Rockstar recycling its assets, but it's also possible that this is a deliberate Easter egg for Red Dead Online fans.
GTA 6 Trailer
Whatever the case may be, it's likely that the full Grand Theft Auto 6 game will have plenty of Easter eggs for fans to track down. Grand Theft Auto games are known for their Easter eggs and clever references, so there's no reason to assume that GTA 6 will be any different. Unfortunately, it will still be quite a while before fans have the chance of exploring GTA 6 for themselves. Grand Theft Auto 6 has a vague 2025 release window at the time of this writing, so fans will have to keep busy analyzing its trailers in the meantime.
