A Rockstar Games insider has predicted that the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer will drop at some point between Friday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 5. Fans have been waiting for Grand Theft Auto 6 for over a decade at this point, and so it's safe to say that many of them are excited that the wait to see the game's first trailer is nearly at an end.
To date, Rockstar has confirmed very little about Grand Theft Auto 6 or what the highly-anticipated open world game will entail. Rockstar didn't even confirm the game's existence until February of last year, and it's just now that fans have a trailer to look forward to, as it's been confirmed that the first trailer is coming in early December. Rockstar has stopped short of providing a specific day in December that fans can expect to see the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, but a Rockstar insider may have helped narrow things down.
Grand Theft Auto 6 Has Already Broken a Massive Record

Tez2, a proven Rockstar Games insider, has taken to Twitter to offer their prediction on when the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer will finally drop. Pointing out how the end of next week will likely be focused on Grand Theft Auto Online updates since December 12 marks the end of that game's current event, they predict that Rockstar will drop the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer this coming weekend. If the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer doesn't come this weekend, they believe it will be coming Tuesday at the latest. Now, fans should obviously take this claim with a grain of salt, but it would make sense and fit within the "early December" window for the GTA 6 trailer.
So we can expect [the GTA 6 trailer] either on Friday, during the weekend, or on Tuesday at most.
Some may be surprised that the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer is seemingly not planned for The Game Awards 2023. And if the GTA 6 trailer still hasn't dropped by the time The Game Awards rolls around on December 7, perhaps there's still a chance it will be at the show. But it's always been a long shot for the GTA 6 trailer to be at The Game Awards. The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer is going to be so massive that it would completely overshadow every other game shown at the event, not to mention the games that are being nominated for awards. Other companies that have worked to get their games featured at The Game Awards would likely be upset if they had to compete with the first-ever trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6.
Regardless of when the first GTA 6 trailer drops, it will be interesting to see if the leaks about the game turn out to be true or not. Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks have revealed that the game is apparently going to be set in Vice City with both a male and female protagonist. The first trailer should go a long way in clearing things up, so fans should stay tuned.
