Sometimes players can steal something worth selling, keeping, or just for the fun of it, and GTA Online certainly features an abundance of exciting vehicles that allow an immense layer of fun and opportunity. If players are heading back into Los Santos, they should look to the best GTA Online vehicles to steal for a variety of different reasons.

16 Fire Truck

Top Speed: 96 MPH

• Location: Call 911 for Fire Service Department
• Cannot be Sold

Everyone has wanted to ride in a fire truck once in their life, so why not fulfill that dream? Whilst the Fire Department might need their fire trucks to stop Los Santos from burning down, players will want it more just to have fun. Players can't keep the vehicle they steal, but they can certainly enjoy it for how it's capable of destruction in both its durability and water cannon.

Players can use the water cannon to terrorize other players and NPCs, sending them across the floor like ragdolls. Whilst it might not be a daring vehicle to use for stunts, it's still a beautiful choice for those who want to embrace chaos for a while.

15 Imponte Phoenix

• Location: Terminal, Maze Bank Arena, Cypress Flats, East Vinewood
• Sold for $2,000

A mixture of classic and modest, the Imponte Phoenix is no Batmobile, and it certainly doesn't have missiles, but it's still a decent drive. Players who want to steal a car that is worthy of insuring and keeping for themselves should look to the Imponte Phoenix. It's not a bad choice, and if players can get their hands on one by stealing it, they should go for it.

The speed and acceleration are good, and the vehicle itself looks good, which is arguably the more important aspect of owning a car in the game. With this muscle car, players are in for a keen treat of vehicular joys.

14 Maibatsu Sanchez

Top Speed: 119.50 MPH

• Location: Sandy Shores, Grapeseed
• Sold for $800

Players aren't going to net a decent profit from the Maibatsu Sanchez as it is only worth a few hundred dollars. However, what they are going to net, is a fun ride that is perfect for use in the Grand Senora Desert. When players leave the Vinewood Hills, they are going to need something that can be used off-road, and what perfect choice than the Sanchez?

It's not a secret that the Vigilante is based on Batman's Batmobile. The Vigilante is one of the best cars to steal from other players, as it goes ridiculously fast, and when players purchase armor for the vehicle, it can act like a tank, smashing through other vehicles, and turning them to dust, especially when players use the boost function. The Vigilante is a grand vehicle, one that only the rich can afford, so why not steal it?

Players will need to be lucky and hope that others in their session are rocking a Vigilante, and have not bothered to keep the car locked to strangers. Jumping into a Vigilante and using the rocket boost function up a hill can send players flying, and the homing rockets make threatening vehicles null and void, providing an expensive joyride to players in need of excitement.

12 Benefactor Schwartzer

Top Speed: 117 MPH

• Location: Downtown Los Santos, La Spada, Aguja Street, La Puerta, Vespucci Beach
• Sold for $8,000

A rare sight indeed, the Benefactor Schwartzer is now a car that can only be obtained through thievery and for keen eyes, as it was delisted as of June 13, 2023, meaning it cannot be purchased. Players will have to look hard for this car, and it's pretty impressive if they can find one, since not only is it a rare car located on the streets, but it's also fairly customizable both visually and in terms of how it drives.

The Benefactor Schwartzer is a great car for those who know what to look for, and players can spend a great deal of time and care in making the vehicle something they would want to be seen in. Whilst it's no Vigilante or supercar, it will get the job done, and with relative fashion too.

11 P-996 Lazer

Top Speed: 195 MPH

• Location: Fort Zancudo
• Cannot be Sold

It's technically cheating, since this vehicle isn't exactly a car, but everyone needs to steal a military jet and cross it off their bucket list. One of the many joys of GTA Online is the endless fun that can be had, so jumping into Fort Zancudo and going for a joyride in a jet, with other jets and tanks and 5-stars on the police radar is a thrill like no other, especially when players can see how fast and free the air can be.

Players can use an assortment of weapons, from the targeting missiles to the cannons, providing hellfire from above. Players can take this jet to Los Santos and have a field day with the weapon capabilities, or simply enjoy the thrills of the sky and do some barrel rolls before ejecting from the vessel. Whatever players choose, the P-996 Lazer is a must-steal, even if it will draw the ire of other players and the military.

10 Vapid Police Cruiser

Top Speed: 109.25 MPH

• Locations: Police Stations, Patrolling Los Santos, Calling 911
• Cannot be Sold

Whilst the Vapid Police Cruiser is not exactly a vehicle that players can keep, it’s certainly one that can provide players with a bout of fun. There are many different varieties of police cars in GTA Online, and the Los Santos Police Department will not know what to do when an army of citizens with a walking arsenal of weapons decides to take their cruisers out for a joy ride. Since players cannot sell them, or store them, these vehicles should only be used for fun, and for intense getaways.

The Vapid Police Cruiser is the fastest of the bunch and can have 4 players inside, including the driver. Even better, players can use this vehicle to roleplay as a cop if they so seek, and they can use the sirens and horn for some special effects that other cars lack. The only downside of this vehicle is players cannot keep or customize it, and the fact it cannot be sold makes for a shame, but an understandable one.

9 Ubermacht Zion

Top Speed: 117 MPH

• Locations: Rockford Hills, The Families, Del Perro Pier, Vespucci Beach
• Can be Sold for $6,000

Sometimes located during traffic, the Ubermacht Zion may be a common enough car to look at, but it has some pretty solid stats to make it a good car that’s worth taking. Players should take the Ubermacht Zion if they see it, regardless of whether someone is inside. The car has some pretty decent stats, and the 2 seater can be driven at pretty fast speeds.

8 Karin Sultan

The Karin Sultan isn’t exactly the most attractive vehicle, considering it’s a 4 seated Sports Car, but that doesn’t stop it from being something new players should obtain. There’s a decent speed from the Sultan, with the top range of speed reaching 115.75 MPH.

The Sultan is a rather common spawn around GTA Online, which makes it a great car to steal since players won’t have to keep their eyes peeled so much, although it's a car not worth the retail price. The locations of the Sultan are as follows: Harmony, La Mesa, Strawberry, Senora Freeway, and Larry’s RV Sales.

7 Lampadati Felon

Top Speed: 113.75 MPH

• Locations: Rockford Hills, Vinewood Hills
• Can be Sold for $9,000

One of the luxury Coupes in GTA Online is the Lampadati Felon, a vehicle that can be found and sold for $9,000. It’s a great payday just for finding a car off the street, although the owner of the said vehicle probably won’t be too happy that a car worth $90,000 was stolen and sold for a tenth of that price, although that quick money is great to help with things before a mission.

Players can search for the Lampadati Felon in Rockford Hills and Vinewood Hills, two wealthy areas. The average stats and top speed of 113.75 MPH make it a decent starting car, but players can still sell it for quick cash.
