How to Buy a Garage in GTA 5

To be able to buy a garage, players must first finish the “Father/Son” mission. This particular pre-requisite applies to all characters. In the game, every character boasts their own set of cars and, of course, their personal garage.

To buy a garage, players will have to reach the character’s garage, where they will see a “For Sale” sign. Upon moving closer, they will see a prompt to buy the garage for $30,000. After making the purchase, the garage will be in the character’s properties.

Trevor

Trevor’s garage is located on Pillbox Hill near Power Street. This place can store four cars.

Franklin

Franklin’s garage is near some old parking lots on Grove Street. It looks old and also has space for about four cars.

Michael

Michael’s garage can store four cars. His garage can be found in West Vinewood.

Keep in mind these are the initial garages. Players can buy more properties as they advance in the game. Players can simply look for garages on the Dynasty8realestate website and purchase one that suits their budget. Depending on the building and the storage space offered, garage prices can range anywhere from $25,000 to $250,000.

Types of Garages in GTA 5

On the Dynasty 8 website, players can find three types of listings:

  • High-end
  • Medium
  • Low-end.

High-end garages have higher price tags, usually more than $100,000. The interior will have a luxurious feel, featuring sophisticated lighting and an immaculate area to work. Along with other accessories, high-end garages also have a wall-mounted TV, radio, and laptop. The storage space is 10 vehicles and three bicycles.

Medium garages offer decent and clean working space, along with a workbench with radio and laptop. They have room for six vehicles and two bicycles. Lastly, low-end garages offer space for only two vehicles and one bicycle.
