A Grand Theft Auto Online player has shared their impressive car collection with the Grand Theft Auto 5 community, and the vehicles are all inspired by Pixar’s Cars franchise. Pixar Animation Studios is behind several films synonymous with nostalgia and childhood, including Toy Story, The Incredibles, and WALL-E. The Cars series has a long list of beloved characters, and Grand Theft Auto Online players are impressed by this in-game showroom.
GTA Online was released in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, existing as an online component of Grand Theft Auto 5. The fictional state of San Andreas is players’ open-world playground, boasting exploration and co-op game modes. GTA Online players are currently thrilled by the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode, which was added to celebrate the Halloween season this year. The attraction welcomed over 400,000 players within its first 24 hours of being live, proving the game has retained a lot of its popularity during its longevity.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Almost Had a Very Different Map
A developer who worked on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas reveals that the game's map was almost very different in a significant way.
Posted on Reddit by RemarkableClimate336, a series of images were shared within the GTA Online subreddit, showcasing the player’s Pixar Cars-themed garage. Recognizable vehicles from the animation series include Lightning McQueen, Sally, and Chick Hicks, to name a few, and there was even an accurate version of Sir Tow Mater. The Cars collector must have followed in the footsteps of another GTA Online player who recently hit an earnings milestone in-game, because those cars and customizations do not come cheap.
GTA Online Player Showcases Pixar Cars-Themed Garage
Joining GTA Online’s best cars to customize, including the Cerberus, Glendale, and ZR380, the models used to bring Pixar’s Cars to life look incredibly authentic. One Redditor ignited a glimpse into the collector’s design process when they recommended using the Willard model for Chick Hicks, but the original poster noted that the model didn’t look like a race car despite the body matching. Additionally, the collector noted they had an older version of their garage on a different account, but they lost their work after acquiring a new PC. Despite the lost progress, the new-and-improved garage is a stunning in-game feat.
Jumping from Pixar into the Marvel franchise, another GTA Online player noticed a Spider-Verse-styled glitch occurring when their character was running, which turned the movement into something akin to Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film. The online multiplayer has been around for over ten years, which is why there’s an accumulation of fans' experiences with wacky glitches and prized car collections.
