One of the Recover Valuables Security Contracts in Grand Theft Auto Online’s The Contract DLC sends players to retrieve a watch from the Vanilla Unicorn. This item is not immediately accessible, though, as it has been locked away inside of a safe in the establishment. Fans that want to open that Vanilla Unicorn safe in GTA Online must first locate its combination, and this guide details exactly where they should look for it.

GTA Online: Where to Find the Vanilla Unicorn Safe Combination

To obtain the Vanilla Unicorn safe code, players must find a yellow post-it note that is inside of the building. That said, this post-it does not have a fixed spawn point, and it can appear in several different locations within the Vanilla Unicorn. Here is a list of all of the places where the note can spawn, and GTA Online players may need to check them all before proceeding to the next step:

  1. On the bar near the “Vanilla Unicorn” neon sign in the dancing room.
  2. On the couch in the first curtained-off booth on the left when entering the dancing room.
  3. On the barrier that is around the dancing pole in the dancing room.

As a player approaches the post-it in one of these locations, a green arrow will appear above it, and fans should interact with the note to collect the Vanilla Unicorn safe code. When that has been done, players should return to the business’s dressing room, open the safe that is found there, and recover the watch that is inside. Players must now exit the Vanilla Unicorn and return to the Agency to complete this GTA Online The Contract DLC mission and earn their reward.

To note, there is another Recover Valuables Security Contract in the game, and it is very similar to the one that is detailed in this guide. The primary difference is that this other contract takes place at the Tequi La La, and players will need to recover the Tequi La La safe combination in Grand Theft Auto Online to complete it. This code once again is written on a yellow post-it note, and it can also appear in three positions.

Regardless of the specific Security Contract that a player completes, they will be on the road to unlocking VIP Contracts in GTA Online when they finish one. Indeed, Franklin should be in touch shortly after a fan returns to the Agency, and the mission that he offers will lead players directly to the DLC’s more-elaborate offerings.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S support planned for March 2022.
