How to Get a Mansion in GTA Online
GTA Online introduces mansions that players can own. We'll show you what they come with and how much they cost so you can see if they're worth it.
Players will have until January 3, 2026, to complete the Yeti Hunt.
Begin the Yeti Hunt
To start the Yeti Hunt in GTA Online, you will need to head to Blaine County. You will need to drive north between Fort Zancudo and Paleto Bay to trigger the Yeti Hunt. Once you're in the area, you'll receive a text from Tanner, and there will now be a wide radius within the Chiliad wilderness for you to investigate. The objective here is to head into the circle radius marked with a question mark and locate the 5 hidden clues to find the Yeti.
Clue Locations
To find this Yeti, you will need to hunt down 5 separate clues in the vicinity of Chiliad Mountain. We've pinpointed the exact locations of the Yeti Clues in the map image featured above, but if you need further help, we'll showcase deeper dive locations below.
You'll know you're in the vicinity of a clue when you hear a heartbeat and tense music playing. Once you've located the clue, you can press Right on the D-Pad to investigate the clue, which rewards you with $10,000 for each clue found.
Here are all the GTA Online Yeti Hunt Clue locations:
Yeti Clue #1 Location – Deer Carcass
The Deer Carcass is a Yeti Clue that can be found directly west of the center of the circle radius. You'll want to follow the shoreline across the river, and the corpse of a mutilated deer can be found against some rocks, along with footprints that lead further north.
Yeti Clue #2 Location – Body Parts
The Body Parts Yeti Clue can be found by following the dirt road in the center of the radius west, until you find a cliff with a split tree. The body parts can be found right beside this destroyed tree, granting you another Yeti Clue.
Yeti Clue #3 Location – Bloody Shirt
The Bloodied Shirt Yeti Clue can be found directly north of the center circle radius, and will require you to head down the dirt path into a ditch, where you will find a scrapped car and a white t-shirt covered in blood.
Yeti Clue #4 Location – Wrecked Car
The Wrecked Car Yeti Clue can be found directly east of the center of the circle radius. You'll need to hop down the abandoned bridge, where you'll find a toppled rusted car by a tree that can now be investigated.
Yeti Clue #5 Location – Tent
The Tent Yeti Clue can be found on the northwest dirt road within the Chiliad Mountain. You're looking for a bloodied blue tent by some bare trees, with a red sleeping bag outside.
Defeat the Yeti
Once all 5 clues have been investigated, the Yeti will emerge and try to kill you. The Yeti will only spawn in the Chiliad Mountain region between 9 PM and 6 AM (in-game times). The Yeti's location can be found by looking at the red skull on the minimap, but he's impossible to miss, as he can sprint towards you at incredible speeds.
You'll need to use explosive weaponry or hard-hitting weapons like a Minigun to kill the Yeti quickly, as he doesn't go down after just a few measly bullets. If the Yeti catches you, he will repeatedly knock you down and kill you in just a few hits. If you die to the Yeti, then you can respawn and wait the next 24 in-game hours for the Yeti to appear again.
After you have successfully killed the Yeti, you will be awarded an additional $50,000, along with the Yeti Outfit which you can equip at any wardrobe, and it's selected within the Outfits: Festive section.
