Guild Wars 2 is starting a new Twitch Drop campaign soon, giving players the chance to earn some free in-game items including the Wizard’s Hat Skin, Mini Krytan Floppy Fish, and White Mantle Outfit. ArenaNet periodically holds Twitch Drop campaigns for Guild Wars 2 to celebrate major releases and events. Many of these giveaways provide chances for players to earn exclusive cash shop cosmetics that are no longer available, such as the Bloodstone-themed customizations offered for the launch of Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds’ “Absolution” update.

Now, Guild Wars 2 is gearing up for another Twitch Drop campaign to celebrate the ongoing Fractal Incursion event. Starting September 16, fans can earn the Wizard’s Hat Skin, Mini Krytan Floppy Fish, Dye Kit Pack, and outfit inspired by the White Mantle from the original Guild Wars by watching up to five hours of any GW2 streamers on Twitch. The campaign will be live through September 22, giving players approximately one week to claim these free in-game items.

The Wizard’s Hat Skin first appeared in the game back in 2012, where it was given away as a free reward to every account. Meanwhile, the White Mantle Outfit and Mini Krytan Floppy Fish were added to the Guild Wars 2 gem store in 2016 and 2017 respectively, with all three items periodically returning to the shop throughout the subsequent years. All together, these items would cost 1,250 gems, approximately $15 – and that’s not including the Dye Kit Pack on top of it.
The Fractal Incursion event itself is live in game right now, and runs until October 7. During this event, fans can beta test the new Fractal Quickplay matchmaking mode, engage Fractal bosses in open world events, and earn incredible rewards, including a full set of level 80 rare equipment, exotic gear, an ascended accessory, two bag slot expansions, and a pair of legendary gloves. With the Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity expansion releasing on October 28 not long after, now is a great time to see what Tyria has to offer.
