In Hades 2, you proceed with traveling as the underworld princess Melinoe, who is on a mission to kill Chronos, the God of Time. Nevertheless, this expedition will not be easy and entirely depends on your capacity to accumulate and hold badly needed resources, including Silver.
Not only will Silver help you acquire new weapons, but it will also be necessary to get your hands on various important tools. However, obtaining Silver can be a bit tricky, given its importance in the game. But fear not, as this guide provides efficient ways of securing Silver in Hades 2.
Hades 2: Chardybis Boss Guide
Charybdis is a boss fight in Hades 2 that you'll eventually reach after making enough progress on the surface. Here's how to easily get past it.
How To Get Silver In Hades 2
Silver in Hades 2 is an important mineral resource that you are going to need if you want to unlock new weapons and tools. Luckily, you can acquire Silver in Hades 2 by using the Crescent Pick to mine Silver ore deposits. Here is a step-by-step breakdown of how to get it:
Find Silver Ore Deposits
Firstly, you will need to locate Silver ore deposits, which are rocks covered with Silver. These deposits are present throughout the first area of the game, Erebus. However, be mindful that they can appear in any room, typically at the beginning of the region.
How To Get The Crescent Pick
Crescent Pick is one of the gathering tools in Hades 2. To get it, you first need to unlock the Gathering Tools category in the Silver Pools. You can purchase this category for one Moly from the Incantations pot. Luckily, you can also find Moly within Erebus rooms, without needing any extra tools.
Once you have unlocked the Gathering Tools category, you can now buy the Crescent Pick from the Silver Pool in exchange for one Ash. You can obtain Ash by clearing specific rooms or purchasing it from shops, and you can find the Silver Pool just before reaching the Training Area.
Mine Silver With The Crescent Pick
To mine silver in Hades 2, equip your Crescent Pick and start exploring Erebus. While exploring the region, look out for large, glowing rocks, which are silver ore deposits (as shown in the above video). Once you have identified these deposits, interact with them using the Crescent Pick to collect Silver. Nevertheless, keep in mind that each deposit can be mined three times, so make sure not to miss any.
Make sure to clear the area before interacting with the deposits to stay safe, as you may face a few roaming enemies there.
