While Hades is far from a short game, there is a lot more going on in Hades 2 than in the original. There are eight main regions across two routes that Melinoe can take from the Crossroads, dozens of relationships to progress and tasks to complete to progress the main story, and a mind-boggling number of collectibles, challenges, upgrades, secrets, and achievements to get that will test the patience of even the most hardened completionist.

How Long Is Hades 2?
Time To Beat Hades 2 & Main Story Length
Just like its predecessor, the time it takes to beat the final boss of Hades 2 ultimately depends on a player's skill. Though most players will beat Chronos for the first time within their first few dozen runs, you will have to do a lot more to see credits in Hades 2.
Chronos reconstitutes himself after every defeat at the end of the Underworld route, while Typhon comes back every night atop the Surface route. You must complete numerous runs to complete the main story of Hades 2.

A full run of either the Underworld or Surface routes takes around 30 to 50 minutes, depending on how efficiently you make it through the four regions and beat the four Guardians of either path.
The Surface route is slightly more difficult than the Underworld route and may take players a little longer to learn and complete.
It will take most players anywhere from 10 to 30 runs to beat Chronos for the first time, and a few dozen more to beat Typhon after unlocking the Surface route – and there is still more to do after. Depending on your skill, expect to take anywhere from 30 to 50 hours to beat Hades 2 and roll credits.
How Long Does It Take to 100% Hades 2?
Time To Fully Complete Hades 2 & Earn Every Achievement
That's not the end of the game, though. After the credits, Melinoe still has plenty to do, like fully developing her relationship with every character, unlocking all Nocturnal Arms and their Aspects, completing every Chaos Trial and Fated List prophecy, and engaging in unique post-game content exclusive to the Hades 2 epilogue. Additionally, players can still upgrade their Arcana cards and Companions, unlock every Keepsake, and work toward every achievement.
Even though Melinoe's main task will be complete, without spoiling too much, new main tasks will present themselves in the Hades 2 epilogue which lead to the true ending of the Hades 2 story. Thus, the time it takes to 100% complete Hades 2 is significantly longer than the time it takes to simply see the credits.
If you want to 100% complete Hades 2, expect to spend around 60 to 100 hours to see everything in the game – around double the time it takes to roll credits.
