Where to Get Entropy in Hades 2
To get Entropy, you must not only defeat Typhon, the final boss of the Surface route in Hades 2 – you must completely eradicate the Father of All Monsters.
To do this, you will have to successfully finish several runs in the Underworld route to discover the means to turn Typhon's limitless rage against him via the Disintegration of Monstrosity Incantation.
SPOILER WARNING
Major endgame spoilers for Hades 2 follow – do not continue if you want to discover the ending to the Underworld route for yourself.
After you defeat Chronos for the first time, progress into Prince Zagreus' chambers to the bottom right of the boss room. Interact with the bed here to dive into the subconscious and transform Melinoë into a ghostly version of herself. Then, float over to the Mirror of Night and interact with it to travel through to a path that exists between time.
Continue along this path until you meet none other than Prince Zagreus himself, or rather, a version of Zagreus from the past before Chronos' invasion. Without spoiling too much, Zagreus does not initially believe Melinoë, and it takes a few runs for him to trust in her claims.
Eventually, the two will concoct a plan to find a weapon that was not used against the Titans. In this case, that weapon is Hades' own spear: Gigaros.
To get Gigaros, you will have to beat Chronos five times, talk to Zag to tell him to leave the axe somewhere safe, then beat Chronos a sixth time. You will find Gigaros by Zagreus' bed before entering the Dream on this sixth attempt.
Pick up Gigaros, talk to Zag again, then return to the Crossroads.
Hades 2: All Romanceable Characters
The original Hades had such intriguing, unique romances. Hades 2 continues this tradition with its own twist on love for Melinoe.
What to Do With Gigaros in Hades 2
To complete the Disintegration of Monstrosity Incantation, Hades 2 players need to have 1x Z-Sand, 4x V-Lens (which drops from Typhon), and 1x Gigaros. Cast this spell, then complete the surface route to defeat Typhon once again.
Upon defeat, instead of slipping down the mountainside like normal, Melinoë will rush forward and use the infused Gigaros to unravel the Father of All Monsters for good.
After this climactic moment, return to the Typhon boss arena to get Entropy in Hades 2.
You'll also get 1x V-Lens for accomplishing this monumental, time-shifting task, as you normally would for defeating Typhon.
After going into the Palace of Zeus, return to the Crossroads and complete the Dissolution of Time Incantation with your newly acquired Entropy
Hades 2 players should then complete one more Underworld run to grant Zag the Dissolution of Time Incantation, allowing him to defeat Chronos in his own time and spur the events that lead to the end of the game.
