Only a select few players could purchase it, with the exclusivity of the Haunted Helmet becoming part of the mystique. 14 years after its last appearance, the Haunted Helmet was finally added to Halo Infinite as part of the Operation: Fleetcom update, which has seen it receive renewed popularity. At 75,000 Spartan Points, the new version of the helmet comes at a steep cost, although it's much easier to obtain now than it was in Halo: Reach.

The Haunted Helmet took over 40 hours of 3D printing, as well as "a lot of time spent sanding, painting, and adding LEDs."
