In Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, there are three different Attributes that players can level up in the form of Courage, Empathy, and Knowledge. By leveling these Attributes, players will gain bonuses when completing activities and have access to exclusive dialogue choices, in addition to other bonuses. Unfortunately, leveling one's Attributes in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery can be very time-consuming, especially in the late-game. However, there are ways players can significantly speed up the process.
In Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, the primary way many players will level their Attributes is by completing classes. Each star earned is a chance to add some points to one of the Attributes, with certain classes tied to a specific Attribute. However, this can take literally days of grinding. Instead of just grinding out classes to level Attributes, we recommend buying cosmetic items.
Cosmetic items in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery can be purchased with gold coins as well as gems. Gems are a rare commodity in the game and the only way to build up a significant amount of them is by using real money. Considering this, we recommend saving gems for more important purchases, like extra energy bits and the like. Coins, however, are easy to come by in Hogwarts Mystery, and serve little purpose besides purchasing cosmetics.
Cosmetic items offer significant Attribute boosts when purchased, which are permanent and don't require the player to actually wear any of the cosmetic items they're buying. There is a wide number of cosmetics that can be purchased with coins, and since players will often find themselves flush with them, it makes sense to head to the item shop and spend them on some new threads.
Besides just buying clothes, a recent update has offered yet another way Hogwarts Mystery players can level up their Attributes fast. Pet Looks, which are essentially cosmetic skins for pets, can also be purchased in exchange for Attribute points. Like other cosmetic items, Pet Looks can be purchased with coins as well as gems, though we do warn that they're rather expensive at the time of this writing.
By purchasing cosmetic items for their player character as well as their adopted pets, Hogwarts Mystery players should have no problem leveling up their Attributes as fast as possible.
