Just like any life sim/farming sim game, Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos is filled to the brim with all kinds of materials. Whether players gather it via growing crops or foraging from the wilds, there is no shortage of items and materials to discover. Even fishing and mining can yield some helpful items that players will need as they work to restore all the towns and villages across Anthos.
With so many materials in the game, it can be difficult to know where to go to find certain items. One such example is Raw Jade Gemstone, and here is where it can be obtained.
How to Get Raw Jade Gemstone
Just like with most metals and gemstones, Raw Jade Gem can be found while mining. It can show up as a deposit that players can hit, or they can find it by digging on spots that are highlighted when dousing. Of course, the trick to finding anything in the mines is to go deep enough. Starting out, players will mostly find basic resources on the first couple of floors of the mines.
But by the time players reach the 10th or 11th floor, they will encounter more rare resources like Silver Ore or Gold Ore. As players near the 20th floor of the Lenctenbury Mine, they will have a much greater chance of finding Raw Jade Gemstone. Since it can take a while to go down this far, players should make sure to bring as much food with them as possible in order to prevent running out of Stamina.
Raw Jade Gemstone can also be found in other mines. In fact, players are much more likely to encounter it in the Providence North Mine. In order to reach this mine, players will have to restore the bridge that is on the north side of Providence.
What is Raw Jade Gemstone Used For?
Right from the get go, Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos players encounter a character named Doc Jr. Aside from being heavily involved with the tutorial, Doc Jr can craft all sorts of helpful upgrades and items for players. He can even take raw gemstones and refine them into higher quality gems. So if players have any Raw Jade Gemstone, he can turn it into Jade for a price.
As for what Jade can be used for, there are two main uses. The first is to give it as a gift to villagers. The second is to sell it for money. Since players can get 66 G per Jade, selling gemstones is not a bad way to make a good side profit.
Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos is available now on PC, Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
