Hearthstone has revealed the new mini-set Embers of the World Tree, which comes out on May 13. This will be the 14th Hearthstone mini-set released by Blizzard, which will add new cards to the latest expansion, Into the Emerald Dream.
Released on March 25, Into the Emerald Dream is Hearthstone's 29th expansion that released 145 new cards for players to collect. Like the previous expansion, The Great Dark Beyond, it once again explores another corner of World of Warcraft lore: the Emerald Dream, as the clash between the Druids and the Old Gods defines the fate of the World Tree. The expansion introduced two new keywords: Dark Gift, buffs for minions discovered by Discovery effects, and cards with Imbue, which change the hero's power for a new one. Now, Blizzard has revealed that new cards are coming to the game soon.

New Hearthstone Mini-Set Continues to Explore the Warcraft Universe
Following on from the story of Into the Emerald Dream, the focus of the Embers of the World Tree mini-set is the Warcraft Raid called Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope, with the Druids of the Flame attacking the World Tree. In all, the mini-set will contain 72 copies of the 38 cards, which can be purchased in packs or as a complete set. So far, 16 of these cards are known: three for the Rogue, Mage, and Hunter classes, two for the Death Knight and Druid classes, and the Neutral cards Living Flame, Petal Picker, and Zaqali Flamemancer.
The Embers of the World Tree mini-set is part of the Year of the Raptor, the year of the Standard format that began on March 25. As part of Hearthstone's 2025 roadmap, players can expect two more expansions: The Shrouded City and The Heroes of Time. Hearthstone will also release mini-sets to accompany the two expansions, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.
