Hearthstone is going back to its roots with Return to Naxxramas, the newly-announced Mini-Set for March of the Lich King. This chilling collection of Hearthstone cards will be available February 14.

Return to Naxxramas, first teased in uploads from a Hearthstone artist's gallery, contains 38 new cards spread between its 11 classes. Players can purchase the full 72-card Mini-Set for the typical $15 or 2,000 Gold. The Golden version of the Mini-Set will be available for $70 or for 10,000 Gold. While this price may seem steep, this is the first time a Golden Hearthstone Mini-Set is buyable with in-game currency.

At press time, Hearthstone has revealed four cards from the upcoming set, including two of the set’s four Legendary cards. The new Death Knight class in Hearthstone is getting its first Colossal minion and Location card, first introduced in Voyage to the Sunken City and Murder at Castle Nathria respectively. Additionally, a new neutral version of Baron Rivendare provides an exciting alternative win condition that may prove powerful in the Wild format. Players can expect the rest of the cards to be revealed over the next week leading up to the Mini-Set’s release.

Naxxramas is a name familiar to Warcraft fans and Hearthstone players. The necropolis is famous for being one of World of Warcraft’s most iconic raids. Curse of Naxxramas was also the first adventure added to Hearthstone, containing the first new cards ever added to the digital TCG. The sloppy release of the flagship card collection led to the memorable “NAXX OUT?” Meme, which has already begun trending on Twitter again in light of Hearthstone’s new Mini-Set.

Memes aside, players are legitimately excited to see what Return to Naxxramas has to offer. Hearthstone's new Death Knight class has been quite popular since its release, and many are excited to see it get its own Colossal and Location card. Hearthstone had previously confirmed Location cards would become evergreen, but players don’t know if the Colossal Sindragosa minion is proof Voyage to the Sunken City’s special keyword will be reprinted again in the future, or if the Legendary Card is just to catch the new class up to the others in Standard.

Unfortunately, the same February 14 Hearthstone patch will introduce the final update for the Mercenaries game mode. The rogue-like Hearthstone battle mini-game is entering maintenance mode after a short year and a half of new content. Luckily, the update introduces some new heroes, mechanics, and even a new endgame progression system to ensure Mercenaries fans can have one last hurrah with the game mode.

Hearthstone is available now for Mobile and PC.
