Helldivers 2 has unveiled the upcoming Into the Unjust update, which is set to drop on September 2. The new Helldivers 2 update includes some game-changing features that could have a massive impact on players' success.
After a year and a half of PlayStation 5 console exclusivity, Helldivers 2 has officially launched on Xbox alongside the Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond. Xbox players can finally hop in alongside PS5 and PC players and see what all the fuss is about with Arrowhead's chaotic third-person shooter. That, then, makes it a great time for the developer to release some exciting content drops, and it has now revealed the next one arriving on September 2.

Upcoming Helldivers 2 Update Includes Some Game-Changing Features
In a blog post and a deep-dive YouTube video, Helldivers 2 revealed the new Into the Unjust update. In this new content drop, players will "discover what lies behind the Gloom shroud enveloping these planets we call Hive Worlds." This Terminid-focused update will take players deep into the caves of these planets, where, according to Arrowhead, "It’ll be your team alone against the horror" and "your Super Destroyer won’t be able to give you full support." That's right - it sounds as though players will not have access to certain Helldivers 2 Stratagems, which is going to be an absolute game-changer in how fans play the game in this update.
That's not all - Into the Unjust will add new Helldivers 2 Terminid enemy types, including Bile Spewers and Chargers that "when they detect a threat, will burrow underground and begin moving toward prey." However, it's the new Dragonroach that is the headline addition here: "a menace in the sky that dives unsuspecting Helldivers and rains down burning bile." In the YouTube deep dive, it's described as a "big, flying Bile Titan." While players have faced flying Terminids before in the form of the Shrieker, it sounds like this is going to be an entirely new challenge altogether.
Into the Unjust launches on September 2, and it will be closely followed by a new Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond on September 4. Titled Dust Devils, it will add a new weapon named the AR-2 Coyote (complete with incendiary ammo), a new cluster frag grenade called the G7-Pineapple, as well as three new Stratagems to assist in spreading Managed Democracy. That's not to mention the two new armor sets, two capes, and more miscellaneous cosmetics.
