Helldivers 2 is now available on Xbox, introducing a fresh battalion of soldiers willing to protect Super Earth from the menacing forces that threaten Managed Democracy. This marks the beginning of an exciting era for Helldivers 2, and as newcomers enter the battlefield, many are likely still trying to catch up with PS5 and PC players' levels of knowledge.
While the game is a thrilling fight against alien and robotic factions, Helldivers 2 quickly turns into a sweat-inducing mission for survival, too. Because of its multiplayer status and difficult combat, many Helldivers 2 players prefer to take on Terminids, Automatons, and the Illuminate with friends. Helldivers 2 doesn't have to be a co-op experience, though. There are plenty of solo players out there, and for fresh single-player Helldivers who are still learning the ropes, getting one's hands on the Control Group Warbond is essential.

A Solo Helldiver's Secret Weapon

Control Group offers plenty of interesting items, but the highlight for many has been the LIFT-182 Warp Pack. This Warp Pack allows players to dart across the map for short distances, which can be incredibly useful as a quick-dodging method. That alone makes the Warp Pack an awesome Stratagem to have in one's arsenal, but the biggest benefit of all is that it allows solo players to teleport into Bunkers.
Until the Warp Pack was added to Helldivers 2, solo players were unable to enter Bunkers. These loot stashes require two Helldivers to open them, but if one has the Warp Pack, they can simply teleport through the door. It's proven to be a game-changer for a lot of solo players, and Xbox players who joined in over a month after Control Group released may be unaware of this tip.
While the LIFT-182 Warp Pack is super useful, it's also incredibly unstable, which can result in the death of a player if used too much.
Since debuting on Xbox, Helldivers 2 players are set to get two major Warbonds within one week. To celebrate coming to Xbox, players got a Halo crossover with the ODST Legendary Warbond, while September 4 brings forth the Dust Devils Premium Warbond.
Super Credit Farming Tips
Obviously, if one wants to acquire the Warp Pack, one has to rack up some Super Credits. Super Credits can spawn on any map at any POI regardless of difficulty. So, for those looking for the easiest way to gain Super Credits, focusing on low-difficulty missions is the best path forward. Yes, it can be a grind, but it's also the most efficient option.
Helldivers 2 Coming to Xbox Promises More Excitement on the Way
Helldivers 2's Xbox debut is the start of a fresh chapter for the beloved third-person shooter. The arrival of Helldivers 2 in early 2024 kicked the year off with a big surprise, as developer Arrowhead Game Studios showcased how the live-service model can actually be used as a way to engage the community instead of just turning the experience into an over-monetized headache.
With Xbox players making their way to the battlefield, it will be thrilling to see what the upcoming year has up its sleeve in regard to Helldivers 2. While a fresh crew of players learn what it means to be a Helldiver, the team at Arrowhead Game Studios is hopefully concocting plenty of great surprises in the next few months. Last year's Game Awards introduced the Illuminate for the first time, but only time will tell if this year's awards ceremony holds any secrets.
