For Star Wars, content inspired by this IP was one of the very first PC mods for Helldivers 2, and remains among some of the most downloaded mods for the game, indicating a high demand among fans for an official collaboration.

As reported by GamesRadar, Deep Rock Galactic developers at Ghost Ship Games once streamed Helldivers 2 and discussed what a potential crossover with Helldivers 2 could look like, which caught the attention of Arrowhead Game Studios to reach out in the stream’s chat.
Ultimately, given the existing demand among fans for crossovers with Star Wars, Warhammer 40K, and Deep Rock Galactic, official crossover events with any or all of these IPs seem like a recipe for success.
