Helldivers 2 players are calling for developer Arrowhead Game Studios to team up with Respawn Entertainment and release a new Titanfall collaboration. Helldivers 2 recently surprised fans with an unexpected collaboration with Killzone 2, but now one fan has mocked up an idea for a Titanfall collaboration that would feature a variety of cosmetic items, weapons, and much more.
Ever since the release of Titanfall 2 back in 2016, fans have been begging developer Respawn to work on a new installment in the hit first-person shooter series. Unfortunately, after almost a decade, the efforts of the community appear to have been futile. While there have been numerous rumors surrounding Titanfall 3 over the years, Respawn appears to be dedicated to its popular Battle Royale title: Apex Legends. While the ever-evolving title is set in the same universe as Titanfall, fans are still begging the studio to create another mainline title following the success of the previous two games.

Helldivers 2 Player Shares Titanfall Collab Idea
Following on from the recent Helldivers 2 x Killzone 2 collaboration, Reddit user CleanTemperature7243 has called for Arrowhead Game Studios to collaborate with another "dead franchise." In a new post on the Helldivers subreddit, the user proposed an idea for a collaboration with Titanfall, suggesting two new skins and three new weapons, which would be the M1A3 Hemlock BF-R, C.A.R SMG, and either a Spitfire LMG or Smart Pistol. The user also suggested that a new cape be included in the collaboration, but in the design of a scarf similar to the pilots in Titanfall.
The simple mockup has been praised by the Helldivers 2 community, with Reddit user Fredderov saying that Titanfall would be the best match for a potential Helldivers 2 collaboration due to the similar aesthetics. Multiple other users also suggested that the dream Titanfall collaboration should include a skin for Helldivers 2's Exosuit Mechs, which were added to the game in March 2024.
If Arrowhead Game Studios listens to the community and does decide to work on a Titanfall collaboration, it needs to tread lightly. The studio was forced to issue an apology following the recent Helldivers 2 collaboration with Killzone 2 due to fan backlash over the price of the new cosmetic items and weapons. The collaboration was released in waves, but players quickly realized they would need to spend upwards of $40 to get all of the exclusive items. Arrowhead would go on to apologize to players and gift all players the second wave of items at no additional cost.
