How To Unlock The Fishing Rod

While playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure, players will notice many bugs walking around on the ground and leaves in the woods, and also fish in the sea. Players can collect these to use for different tasks, or put them in the Nature Preserve as they donate different critters they find. But to find the different critters and catch them, players will need tools. The fishing rod will make it easy for players to get fish. Below are the steps that players need to follow to collect fish.

Get to a level 3 friendship level with Badtz-Maru by gifting him different gifts. Do note that there is a limit to how many can be given to each villager per day. Players can find him at his comic book stand.
After Badtz-Maru has reached friendship level 3, he will begin a quest called "Fishing Tutorial." Players can accept this quest and will be led to craft a fishing rod and learn how to fish.
To craft a fishing rod, players will need 10 sticks, which can be found spawning around Seaside Resort. They will also need 3 threads, which they can get from Tuxedeosam when they give him gifts. Finally, players will need 1 Gizmo, which they can get by gifting items to Chococat.
Once players have obtained the materials, they can craft the fishing rod at Chococat's crafting station.
Head back to Badtz Maru's comic book stand to finish the tutorial by learning how to fish. The game will walk players through how to cast the fishing line and catch fish.
