Hello Kitty Island Adventure was a huge success when it launched in 2023 as an Apple-exclusive title. The game received the Apple Arcade Game of the Year award at the App Store Awards and was well-received by fans. Inspired by the Hello Kitty brand, the game invites players to explore an island where they solve puzzles, take on different quests, and meet the Sanrio characters that inhabit the world. Hello Kitty Island Adventure has received many updates since its launch, and now the developer is introducing more content to kick off 2025.

Previous Hello Kitty Island Adventure updates have introduced new content, and this one is no exception. Update 2.3.0 brings a new story that takes place on Icy Peak, where players will have the opportunity to explore a new area of the mountain. Players can gather snow and Snow Nuls by harnessing the snowfall on Icy Peak, as well as collect new ski chalet-themed furniture, decorations, and clothing. Moreover, players can look forward to the return of the Hugs & Hearts festival in February, where they will be able to accumulate Lovebugs and exchange them for new fashions and furniture.

Additionally, Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s cozy sim world features a new creation station called Piano Plush Pals, which allows players to create their own customized Plush Pal, picking different shapes, sizes, and colors. Much like other popular cozy simulator games, Hello Kitty Island Adventure now includes a Call a Friend feature, which lets players send invitations to join each other’s game.
A new recipe has also been added with the January 22 update. Players can now turn snowcicles into snow and use them to create different Snow Ice flavors. Finally, players can meet a new visitor called Gori, as well as Pekkle’s family.
