Finding lugloxes in High on Life can prove a considerable challenge. There are over 200 of them across the different explorable worlds in the game. Some are right out in the open while others are tucked away in hidden corners.
Upon traveling to Deep Jungle in Zephyr Paradise, the player will be met with a confusing labyrinth of eclectic game design that hides these lugloxes very cleverly. Zephyr Paradise can be particularly challenging because some lugloxes overlap in certain areas. One luglox assigned to Upper Valley was even re-registered to Deep Jungle after High on Life’s January update. Knowing where to find each of the 35 lugloxes for Deep Jungle will be a time-consuming but rewarding endeavor.
All Deep Jungle Chest Locations
It is recommended to use this guide after beating the final boss and completing High on Life. This allows the player to have access to certain abilities, such as the jetpack and the dodge boost, which are tied to story progression. Some lugloxes will be inaccessible unless the player has access to each of these abilities.
Luglox 1
The first luglox is directly ahead from the portal where the bounty hunter first appears. It’s tucked away just in front of where the beaten path lies. Use knifey to open the chest and reap the rewards.
Luglox 2
Head around to the primary orange path. Just before a small bridge, turn left towards the goo lake/river. Tucked away along the side is the next luglox chest.
Luglox 3
Backtrack a bit to the mushrooms that are to the right of the bridge. Platform across using Kenny’s glob shot when necessary. Upon reaching the other side, look up. There is a luglox positioned just above a bit of discolored rock. Use Gus’s special move to reach it.
Luglox 4
There is another luglox to the left of luglox 3 on ground level. It’s sitting just under a tiny little house-like structure.
Luglox 5
Head back to the bridge. Use the hook-bug to latch onto the zip line heading left. This will take the player to an area with some of those green bulbous things which can unveil platforms built for maneuvering. Just above one of these bulbous balls is a luglox.
Luglox 6
Head right from the previous luglox and use the plants to platform. Once the player has turned the corner, they'll notice a green ball on the root of the large tree. Shooting this will release the plant that guards a luglox to the left.
Luglox 7
Turn around from luglox 6. Using the jetpack, get to the top of this small structure where another luglox will be waiting.
Luglox 8
Platform across the goo river from luglox 7 and enter the cave into the Furgle Warren. Go straight. Tucked inside the bizarre little structure dead ahead is a luglox.
Luglox 9
Head right from luglox 8 through the cavern. The player will quickly hit a wall that has some of the red discoloration indicating it can be climbed.
Use Gus or the jetpack to platform up. At the top when the cavern opens out, a luglox is sitting just to the left.
