High on Life: Old Town Luglox Chest Locations

Old Town in High on Life looks like it stepped off the set of a classic Wild West movie with a quirky space town twist in an industrial, Mad Max-style setting and is one of the game's many explorable world locations. After beating the game, players may want to find and open all hidden luglox chests to unlock collectible cards, get more rewards like pesos to spend on upgrades, and ultimately grab the Luglox Genocide Achievement awarded for opening all chests.

In High on Life, players can find 27 chests hidden throughout Old Town in its 3 central locations: Old Town Saloon, Main Street, and Old Town Gorge. Old Town has some well-hidden chests which aren't too difficult to find, especially when players get hold of and upgrade the jetpack and also possess mag boots.

Old Town Saloon

The Old Town Saloon looks like a classic cowboy location with High on Life's space-themed comedic twists. Players can find 4 chests in total both in and outside the Saloon as follows:

Inside the Saloon beside the bar.
On top of metal beams inside the Saloon visible when players look up. Players can only reach this chest from inside the Saloon using the jetpack.
Outside behind the Saloon building between 2 fenced walls.
On top of the Saloon building behind the fan players can stop using Sweezy.

Main Street

Main Street has the largest concentration of chests in Old Town and contains 16 chests. To navigate the area, in addition to the central part of Main Street, it can be handy to think of its East or West zones on either side of the main Old Town entrance featuring the cowboy statue. It's also helpful to remember in the main story, the area is split into Old Town East and West, although when players head back through the portal, only the name Main Street appears.

Old Town West

Players can find 5 chests to the West of the Old Town main entrance as follows:

On top of the cat statue building opposite the Old Town Saloon, just behind the cat statue near the yellow NPC.
At the top of the circular water tower building next to the cat statue.
On top of the yellow digger next to the Rainbow-Road-style bridge reminiscent of Mario Kart that players discover during the main story.
On the rocky platform across the rainbow bridge.
On top of the 2nd building to the right of the Old Town Saloon.

Old Town East

Old Town chest location in front of Nipulon's Lounge in High on Life

There are 5 chests hidden to the East of the Old Town main entrance as below:

Underneath a small roof on top of the building to the right of Old Town's main entrance with the cowboy statue.
Inside a garage door, close to the preceding chest building area.
On top of Nipulon's Lounge main entrance.
Under a roof on the building wreck opposite Nipulon's Lounge.
In a crate behind a barrier just in front of the entrance to Old Town. To access it, follow the pipe to Old Town Gorge below and use one of Creature's children in the yellow contraption at the halfway point on the zipline below.

Central Main Street

There are 6 chests to discover in the central Main Street area of the map as follows:

On top of the cliff area to the right of the entrance to Dreg Town. Players can tether the Hook Bug using Knifey to get across the gap and reach the chest.
Inside the fan on the top of the building opposite the preceding chest - use Sweezey to stop the fans.
On top of the 2nd tall tower opposite the preceding building with the fan, tethering across to reach.
In a corner to the left of Nipulon's Lounge main entrance.
On top of the building by the purple alien NPC opposite the entrance to Dreg Town.
On the side of the building directly next to the preceding building with a pipe-like construction wrapped around it.

Old Town Gorge

There are 7 chests hidden in the Old Town Gorge map area as listed below:

Run along the rocky wall surrounding Old Town to the far eastern corner of the map until an alien with a telescope is visible. Directly in front is a chest on a rocky ledge across a large gap, which players must use the jetpack to get across, but can tether on the way back.
On a ledge by the orange flashing wall opposite the main bridge leading to Old Town. Players can use Gus' weapon ability to build a platform to reach the top.
Across the bridge leading back to the Outskirts area on a small platform just past the Hook Bug.
In the far western corner of the map, next to the wall surrounding Old Town.
To the left of the slope that descends from Old Town's main entrance into the Old Town Gorge, just in front of the glob shot platform.
Using Manny's glob shot weapon ability; players can move the 2nd glob shot platform in front of the preceding chest and tether around to the next chest.
The final chest is directly opposite the preceding chest, which players can reach using the mag wall platforms or the jetpack.
