The popular Squanch Games title High on Life, which originally launched exclusively for Xbox and PC, recently had a leak that potentially confirms an upcoming PlayStation port. The game prominently features Justin Roiland, the co-creator of Rick and Morty who resigned from Squanch Games earlier this year due to a legal controversy.

High on Life made a lot of noise last year after the initial gameplay footage began to hit the internet. It featured the very recognizable voice of Justin Roiland as a gun and one of the game's main characters telling jokes as the player interacts with the world. The game's association with the voice of Rick and Morty meant a very popular release in late 2022 despite mixed reviews. As of right now, the game is only available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, but a new leak may reveal that as something that will change in the near future.

This information comes from the website orbispatches, a site that serves as an archive for PlayStation 4 and 5 updates. The website recently confirmed that a PS4 version of High on Life was found in the console's database. This means that a port for the game is very likely going to get an announcement and release date soon for PlayStation players who have yet to experience the comedy FPS. The game's reviews vary pretty wildly, but most agree that the game will definitely please any who are already fans of the style of humor present in shows like Rick and Morty or Solar Opposites.

Development for the game continues as a High on Life DLC is confirmed to be on the way. The DLC, titled High On Knife, is set to be released sometime in the fall of this year and will feature Michael Cusack, the popular Australian voice actor and co-creator of recent Adult Swim hit cartoon Smiling Friends, voicing the main weapon character this time around as a replacement for Justin Roiland's Kenny.

It's unknown if Roiland will ever return as Kenny for any future High on Life content. It certainly seems unlikely considering his resignation from Squanch Games and his general Hollywood blacklisting, which includes losing his voice roles on Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites, and Koala Man, but it is worth noting that the charges against Justin Roiland were dismissed a few months back.

High on Life is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
