Early on in High on Life's comedic adventure, players will quickly realize that the game will sometimes allow players to make decisions that other games wouldn't. For example, there is an annoying NPC that will literally get in players' way during a bounty mission, and players can either leave him or kill him to unlock an achievement. While choices like these won't impact the main narrative, it's a neat way to give the player at least some control over what happens to some characters.

When High on Life players get through the introductory tutorial sections, they'll finally get to go on their first bounty hunt, which is to take down the first boss of the game, 9-Torg. After getting through the slums and collecting Knifey along the way (a talking knife that can open Luglox Chests), players will come face to face with 9-Torg, who happens to be an evil clone.

Once players finish the boss battle with 9-Torg, they can continue to go back to their home downtown, but they also have the option to kill 5-Torg, one of the other Torg clones that 9-Torg tied up.

What Happens if You Kill 5-Torg in High on Life?

5-TORG high on life

If High on Life players begin to stab or shoot 5-Torg, a boss battle health bar will appear at the top of the screen; however, 5-Torg won't be able to fight back due to being tied up with rope. If players keep damaging them, 5-Torg will eventually die, and players can continue their adventure. It seems that there's no consequence to killing 5-Torg, and players will not get any achievement for doing so.

Choosing to kill 5-Torg is really up to the player and their feelings about the clone. It turns out that 5-Torg will most likely take over 9-Torg's position since all Torg clones are evil. Because of this, maybe it's not a bad idea to get rid of this other Torg. Who knows what 5-Torg will end up doing if they are kept alive?

High on Life is available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It's also available right now via Game Pass.
