As Hogwarts Legacy has expanded its player base by branching out to PS4 and Xbox One, more players are exploring the Avalanche Software open-world game and continue to make interesting discoveries.
Being one of the most successful games of 2023 and that it has been nominated for Game of the Year with multiple outlets, more players are getting their hands on Hogwarts Legacy. Given that Hogwarts Legacy has already sold over 15 million copies, the game has received an explosive reception, with Avalanche teasing a sequel to the open-world Harry Potter game. Although it hasn't made the jump to the Nintendo Switch yet, many new players are coming across more things that make Hogwarts Legacy stand out from other Harry Potter games.
Reddit user Mickivez recently shared a screenshot from their adventures through the world of Hogwarts Legacy in which they used Revelio to uncover a nearby chest. With the Hogwarts Legacy spell highlighting things of interest near the player, a yellow chest associated with a quest has become visible within a nearby large pumpkin. While most nearby pumpkins in the Hogwarts Legacy screenshot are too small to hold a chest like the primary one being highlighted, the large one acts as a clever hiding spot that many fans may not have expected when looking for the quest-related chest in the area.
There are over 100 Hogwarts Legacy chests to hunt for in the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and its surrounding area, with some containing useful items. Players can unlock new furniture for their Hogwarts Legacy Room of Requirement or vivariums from these chests, with others including a more underwhelming stockpile of galleons that can be spent in Hogsmeade village. Beyond finding this chest in the Hogwarts Legacy pumpkin patch, players can also place various sizes of the object in their vivariums upon locating the appropriate card.
