Hogwarts Legacy will be hosting another gameplay showcase later this week, as announced by studio Avalanche Software. Hype has been high for Hogwarts Legacy since the game was first revealed a couple of years ago. In the years following its announcement, Hogwarts Legacy has received multiple trailers, ASMR videos, social media updates, and an extended gameplay showcases that gave fans their best look at the game yet.

Previous Hogwarts Legacy gameplay showcases gave fans a deep dive into the game's combat, the Hogwarts Houses, and different places they will be able to visit in the Wizarding World. Only a few months remain until Hogwarts Legacy's release date is finally here, and to keep interest high, another gameplay showcase will be hosted later this week.

As confirmed by Avalanche, the next Hogwarts Legacy gameplay showcase will take place on Wednesday, December 14 at 10am PT. Anyone interested in tuning in can watch the showcase on the developer's official Twitch channel or the Hogwarts Legacy YouTube page. Fans will have to watch the showcase to know everything that's going to be shown, but the developers did say that the event will include a look at broom flight and traversal, advanced combat, and the Room of Requirement.

Broom flying in Hogwarts Legacy has been shown off in some previous trailers and gameplay clips. While the iconic Harry Potter sport Quidditch won't be in the game, players will still be able to use their brooms to make getting around Hogwarts and the surrounding countryside a bit faster. As far as combat goes, previous videos have shown wizards and witches flinging spells at each other, and the Room of Requirement has also been shown off. However, it seems fans will be treated to new details about all these features during the showcase.

Fans have known for some time that the Room of Requirement will be in Hogwarts Legacy, with this version of the magical room offering a level of customization to the player. The Room of Requirement, for the uninitiated, is a room in Hogwarts Castle that makes itself known to those who are in great need of it, offering them things that can address whatever problems they are currently having.

It's unclear if the second Hogwarts Legacy gameplay showcase will show anything beyond the Room of Requirement, broom flying, and advanced combat, but Harry Potter fans will find out tomorrow. With the Hogwarts Legacy release date so close, it's possible this will be the last major gameplay showcase for the game, but that has not been confirmed at the time of this writing.

Hogwarts Legacy launches February 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X with a Switch version also in development.
