Hogwarts Legacy 2 Should Learn One Lesson From Shadow of the Erdtree

As reported by VGC, players who own Hogwarts Legacy on the original Switch will be able to upgrade to the new and improved Switch 2 version for $10. This price is in line with many other titles making the leap to Nintendo's newest home console, including both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Hogwarts Legacy on the Switch 2 will make use of the system's new mouse controls and will support HDR in both docked and handheld modes. The upgraded title will also do away with loading screens in its open world, and will include sharper visuals and improved lighting.
Hogwarts Legacy Players on the Original Switch Can Upgrade to the Switch 2 Version for $10
Hogwarts Legacy isn't the only third-party title coming to the Switch 2 on launch day. Those able to get their hands on one of the highly sought-after pieces of hardware can also enjoy Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Hades 2, Street Fighter 6, Split Fiction, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, Yakuza 0: Director's Cut, and Hitman World of Assassination: Signature Edition, among others. As for first-party games, Mario Kart World will be available to play on June 5 as well.
The Nintendo Switch 2 offers vast improvements over its predecessor, including 4K support, 256GB of storage space, and a 7.9-inch screen. The system's new dock will also provide improved cooling, helping the Switch 2 maintain higher frame rates. Nintendo began sending out pre-order invites for the console last week, though other retailers, such as Best Buy and Walmart, reported severe technical problems that interfered with the pre-order process.
