Hogwarts Legacy Hufflepuff students have a secret room they can visit in their common room that many players seemingly didn't know about. Hogwarts Legacy brings Hogwarts to life, giving players the chance to explore a massive castle filled with secrets.
All four common rooms in Hogwarts Legacy have their own secrets for fans to discover. Hogwarts Legacy players are assigned a common room early in the game depending on which Hogwarts house they select. Hufflepuff is the least popular Hogwarts Legacy house so far, but its common room seems to be one of the most popular in the community.
Many Hogwarts Legacy fans have had nice things to say about the Hufflepuff common room since before the game even launched, and now that it's out in the wild, fans are discovering secret areas hidden within it. While it's quite possible that many Hogwarts Legacy players already knew about the secret room in the Hufflepuff common room, it's clear that many others had no idea it existed. To access it, face the fireplace, then look to the right. There's a bookshelf here that is actually a secret door. Simply walk into it to open it up to find a room with a locked chest and a bunch of snacks.
This secret room in the Hufflepuff common room was pointed out by Reddit user PrimPygmyPuff. The comments on the post indicate that many Hogwarts Legacy players were completely unaware that this secret room existed, though others have known about it for quite some time. Anyone interested in checking it out will need to create a Hufflepuff student in Hogwarts Legacy and play through the game to the point where they are able to access the common room, which can take some time.
Achievement and trophy data has proven that Hufflepuff is the least popular house in Hogwarts Legacy, but this secret room may convince some players to make a Hufflepuff character. Another reason to choose Hufflepuff is to experience the Azkaban quest, which is only available to Hufflepuff students and is the only time in the entirety of Hogwarts Legacy that players get to see Dementors or the Patronus charm in action.
Now that more people are aware of the benefits of choosing Hufflepuff over the other houses, it will be interesting to see if the stats change at all as the game comes to more platforms. Hogwarts Legacy will be making its PS4 and Xbox One debut in the very near future, with the Switch release not far behind.
Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X with PS4 and Xbox One versions coming May 5 and a Switch port dropping July 25.
