For the past two years or so, Potterheads have gotten their dose of wizardly adventures through Avalanche Software's mega-hit Hogwarts Legacy. The highly rated single-player title, which was the best-selling game of a stacked 2023 calendar year, sold in excess of 30 million copies, as reported in November 2024. Owing to its role-playing aspect, there is a fair variety of customization options for Hogwarts Legacy players to personalize their in-game character in terms of facial features, clothing, and even the assigned wand. Among the numerous types of item that the player can sport in the game are masks, some of which were brought to life by a talented fan and recently shared with other players.

In a Reddit post, user PhysicsIndependent97 showed pictures of a range of different masks from Hogwarts Legacy in their real life form. Among the ones recreated were the Duellist's Mask, the Legendary Mask, the Sanguine Mask, the Beaked Skull Mask, the Dark Arts Mask, the Avenging Raven Mask, the Niffler Mask, the Mermaid Mask and the Avenging Wolf Mask. From the details on the masks to their texture, these replicas offer a very accurate portrayal of their respective in-game counterparts. The Hogwarts Legacy enthusiast revealed that they 3D-printed these items and then hand-painted them to get the finished look.
