C-Tier: Unremarkable Faculty

A passionate lover of star pattern formations, Professor Shah's extreme devotion to the path of astronomy is highlighted by her almost accidental hands-on approach to teaching. While undoubtedly knowledgeable, her aloof teaching style manifests in the trial-and-error approach to using Astronomy Tables in Hogwarts Legacy. Her absence from critical quests doesn't do her any favors either, leaving her classes feeling more informative than immersive.
As Beasts Professor, Howin maintains a mysterious presence but rarely engages outside class. Her limited screen time combined with criticism from students like Poppy Sweeting suggests her methods may fall short for some animal enthusiasts. Given the hobby that rearing magical beasts in Hogwarts Legacy grows to be in the mid-to-late-game, it feels like Avalanche Software missed an opportunity to expand on her character and make her more relatable.
D-Tier: Dreadful Instructors

While lectures aren't exactly intended as a fun exercise, Professor Binns seems to revel in the monotony through which he delivers his lessons in Hogwarts Legacy. Headmaster Black is easily one of the most hated headmasters in Hogwarts history, according to the source material, and this sentiment makes itself visible in Hogwarts Legacy. Quidditch's absence in Hogwarts Legacy was essentially a plot point stemming from Black, and his insufferable air along with this oversight make his character one of the least favorite professors in the game.
