From December 21 to December 26, games can pick up digital editions of Hogwarts Legacy for 50% off its usual asking price on PlayStation Store, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Games Store, with the Nintendo eShop version enjoying a 30% discount. There's no denying that Hogwarts Legacy is one of the biggest new game releases of 2023, and so those that have yet to start their Hogwarts adventure may want to jump on this opportunity while they still can.

Hogwarts Legacy was initially released this past February and earned mostly positive reviews from critics. An instant commercial success, Hogwarts Legacy was praised for its massive open world and incredible recreation of Hogwarts castle. Hogwarts Legacy earned record-breaking sales for Avalanche Software and WB Games, with it currently standing tall as the best-selling game of 2023 so far.

If Hogwarts Legacy keeps its spot as the best-selling game of 2023, it will break a 14-year streak of Call of Duty and Rockstar hogging the top spot. It will be interesting to see if Hogwarts Legacy or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 come out on top when it's all said and done, but in the meantime, those that have yet to play the open world Harry Potter action-RPG can get it at a big discount. From now until at least December 26, gamers can get Hogwarts Legacy for 50% off on PS5, Xbox, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, making it $34.99 instead of the usual $69.99 on consoles and $29.99 instead of the usual $59.99 on PC. The Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy, meanwhile, is $41.99 instead of $59.99. While the sale "officially" ends December 26, it's worth pointing out that some storefronts have the discount lasting longer, with Xbox supposedly keeping Hogwarts Legacy at this low price until January 2 and PlayStation keeping the sale going until January 6.
