For Valentine’s Day 2025, Hogwarts Mystery is introducing themed decorations and new rewards to celebrate love. This February, players can discover additional ways to earn Crystal Packs and improved rewards in the dupe shop thanks to a new chapter in the Hogwarts Diary called “Love and Happiness.” In this chapter, players have to save Hogwarts from an ancient curse that spreads a wave of loneliness through the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This update also introduces a dance for Hogwarts students, with players having the option to invite whoever they want to share this romantic moment and maybe start a new relationship in Hogwarts Mystery.
Hogwarts Mystery Update Puts Love in the Air
With this Valentine's Day update, Hogwarts Mystery is also adding a new magical creature, the Mackled Malaclaw. This lovely pet is the latest addition to Hogwarts Mystery's Magical Creature Reserve, with Hagrid trying his best not to get bitten by one of these angry beasts. Hogwarts Mystery also teased a new creature which will be joining the game later this year, hinting at an aquatic beast that lurks in the depths of the open ocean.
Jam City continues to update Hogwarts Mystery nearly seven years after its launch, consistently adding new content for aspiring magicians. Throughout its various updates, Hogwarts Mystery has introduced new features like dating, and even the ability to continue playing with adult characters after graduating from Hogwarts. The Beyond Hogwarts storyline introduced new locations to Hogwarts Mystery, taking players to iconic locations from the Harry Potter series or even outside of the country with an event starring Bill Weasley and Cedric Diggory set in Egypt.
