Some require players to take a detour as they're locked behind a gate, while others come with a price to pay. For instance, the Hunter's March bench in Silksong will punish players who try to rest on it, forcing them to figure out how to switch off the trap so they can rest on the Hunter's March bench.

Hunter's March Bench Location In Silksong - Hollow Knight: Silksong

There's only one bench in Hunter's March in Silksong, and it's located in a vertical tunnel near the end of the area. Players can reach it by jumping on the red bouncy flower using the plunge attack, but the best way to reach it is by riding the wind current. The ability to ride wind currents will be available after completing the Flexile Spines quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Hunter's March area is skippable. If you wish to progress, head to Far Fields, obtain the gliding skill, then head up the tunnel to Greymoor. Read here for how to progress in Far Fields and reach Greymoor.

However, after reaching the bench, any attempt to rest on the Hunter's March bench will be met by a cruel strike from a tooth trap. Thankfully, the Hunter's March bench trap can be deactivated easily.

How To Rest On Hunter's March Bench In Silksong - Hollow Knight: Silksong

To rest on the Hunter's March bench in Silksong, players must first turn off the trap. To do so, simply walk to the secret room on the left. Try a slight jump if you're hitting a wall instead of walking to the secret room. Once there, there will be a switch that can be hit. Hitting this switch will deactivate the Hunter's March bench, allowing players to rest safely on the spot.

Unsurprisingly, the hidden room feature isn't only available next to the Hunter's March bench. In fact, if players ride the wind current to the ledge above the bench's entrance, they can find another secret room. Jump a little, and keep heading left. Avoid the red spikes and traps to the other side, and players will meet Mottled Skarr. Although the protagonist won't understand the bug's language, they can still trade with the Mottled Skarr.
