Exploration in Hollow Knight: Silksong often ends in unexpected surprises, in both good and bad ways. For example, a tricky time-limited platforming trial may end up rewarding Hornet with a Mask Shard, while at other times, the journey to the deepest section of an area leads to literally nothing. How To Get Seeker's Soul In Silksong - Hollow Knight: Silksong
Seeker's Soul is an item that Hornet can get from a shell home in Bilewater. It's located near the Key of Apostate location in Silksong, so players can collect it while they venture for the key.
In short, there are two routes to reach the Seeker's Soul location in Silksong:
- Journey to Bilewater from the southern part by passing through Sinner's Road. Then, venture north to the top section of Bilewater.
- Enter Bilewater from the northern part by using the Putrified Ducts route in Silksong.
The second method is preferable since it's safer and faster, but it can only be done in the midgame, since the Double Jump skill is required.
If players haven't unlocked the connection between Putrified Ducts and Bilewater, they must go through the first route. So be prepared to face several waves of enemies on top of a boss fight against Groal. All this will commence with no nearby bench, meaning falling in combat will place Hornet back on the last bench she visited.
Bilewater Map in Silksong also requires the Double Jump to obtain, meaning it's meant to be explored in Act 2.
How To Use Seeker's Soul In Silksong - Hollow Knight: Silksong
The Seeker's Soul in Silksong is required to unlock the secret Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Three other souls are also required for the mission, although two of them are only obtainable after promising the Silk and Soul Wish. Therefore, until players fulfill the prerequisites to trigger the Silk and Soul quest (which is quite a lot), the Seeker's Soul will simply sit in Hornet's inventory.
The second item that players can collect before triggering the quest is the 
Snare Setter, which can be collected from Weavenest Atla. Weavenest Atla is located behind the door that requires Needolin song in the Bone Bottom. After getting transported down, find a wall to climb on, then climb up to find a route at mid-height, on the left side. Enter the hidden route, then find another way up. Head up to claim the tool from atop a desk.
