Trail's End is a Wayfarer-type quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Similar to the My Missing Brother quest, Shakra is searching for her master and asks players to help her by heading to the sewers near the Citadel, aka Bilewater. Hornet will receive Shakra's gratitude and a powerful tool as a reward for completing the Trail's End quest.

To complete the My Missing Courier quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong, players must track Tipp's traces in lower Shellwood.
How To Trigger Trail's End Quest In Silksong
To trigger the Trail's End quest in Silksong, grab it from the Wish Board in Bellhart. The Bellhart curse must obviously be removed to have the board display available quests, and you can grab the quest in Act 2. If the Trail's End quest doesn't appear after a while, try some of these solutions:
- Locate Shakra and purchase all the map pieces if you haven't already.
- Complete the first and second batches of wishes that are already on the board.
- Try acquiring some of the Melodies like the Architect's and Vaultkeeper's after defeating the Cogwork Dancers boss.
Try to avoid the Conductor's Melody since it's a very long and brutal fight. Additionally, completing Trail's End will summon Shakra to help you with the Conductor's fight. So, try to grant her wish before seeking out the Melody.
Trail's End Quest In Silksong (Shakra's Location)
Shakra asks Hornet to meet her in Bilewater to finally find her master. Shakra can be found under a waterfall in Silksong, northeast of Bilewater, along a path that only unlocks during the Trail's End quest.
If players have previously obtained the Key of Apostate through climbing Bilewater to reach Putrified Ducts, then they should be familiar with this path.
You can immediately go to Shakra's location without tracking her signature ring weapon, but if you wish to follow her trace, here's what to do.
For those who haven't reached the Putrified Ducts lower area through Bilewater, start from the area's Bellway and go up to turn right. One of Shakra's rings is found, and Hornet can use it to track the warrior's trail.
Head right across the swamp into a long vertical room where another of the rings appears. Use the double jump to go up and use the vertical platforms to shield Hornet from enemy attacks, and then climb higher to the room to the right.
Keep going in the same direction until another vertical room appears. Take advantage of the green bulbs and enemies to push yourself up with the clawline skill to land on the higher left platform. Use the same technique to go up towards the path that unlocks through the Trail's End quest and cling to the wall.
Proceed forward along the path until eventually you reach the waterfall where Shakra is with her master. This will complete the quest and reward Hornet with the 
Throwing Ring tool.
