After exploring the Abyss and discovering it's impossible to proceed without some protection, Hornet must collect three hearts from mighty warriors in Hollow Knight: Silksong. One of these warriors possesses the Heart of Might, or Encrusted Heart, and players must go through a lot of arena fights and defeat multiple enemies before meeting the boss at the end.
Where To Find Sprintmaster Swift (Fastest In Pharloom Quest)
Sprintmaster Swift's location in Hollow Knight: Silksong is both remote and can only be accessed through a hidden route.
How To Get Heart Of Might In Silksong
To get the Heart of Might in Silksong, players must go to the end of the Sands of Karak and enter Coral Tower. Start from the Blasted Steps and keep going right to proceed. The area has a unique mechanic where players hit a branch to make it grow and use its platforms to cross to the other side.
The shortcut to the top is located in the first vertical room, but it needs to be opened from above. You can try skipping the jumps using
Silk Soar from the middle of the eastern vertical room, but if you wish to do it properly, you need to drop to the bottom of the eastern vertical room.
Hit the branch and quickly platform your way to the top. Continue to the left and destroy the rock above the bridge to create the shortcut.
Proceed left and use the combinations of skills you have to reach the other side. The last branch leads to a wall, and Hornet needs to cling to it to jump onto the higher wall and then
Clawline to the left platform.
Enter the building to find an army of enemies surrounding a slumbering warrior. Before doing anything, turn right and go through a hidden door to find a bench.
Return to the warrior and play the Elegy of the Past using the needle to be transported inside Coral Tower. Here's what you need to do in Coral Tower to get the Heart of Might in Silksong.
What To Do In Coral Tower In Silksong
All players need to do in Coral Tower is progress through the area, defeat the enemies, and face the boss at the end to get the Heart of Might in Silksong. There are no puzzles or collectibles, just a lot of enemies that'll slowly make you go insane.
If Coral Tower proves to be too difficult, players can opt for the Green Prince questline as an alternative Heart. However, it also has a restricted rest area.
Upon arriving inside the memory of Coral Tower, use
Silk Soar to reach the top.
Go left and jump up to reach the first boss fight. It will be a wave after wave of enemies. At some point during this fight and the upcoming ones, a big white jellyfish-like enemy will appear. Hitting it restores silk, which can be used to heal. Also, having tools like the Cogfly in Silksong will be immensely helpful as they will attack enemies automatically and can deal extra damage if they are laced with venom.
Once you're done with that, go up and turn left to stumble into yet another arena fight. This time, around mid-battle, red spikes will cover some parts of the ground and stay there until the end, when a big enemy appears and breaks them.
Go up into an empty room and proceed to the room above to enter the third arena fight. During this fight, the ground is almost immediately covered in spikes, until no safe space is left. Players need to stick to the walls and attack enemies without falling. The
Ascendant's Grip will be a great help during this fight as it helps Hornet stick to the wall without sliding. You can buy it from the Wandering Merchant after completing her quest.
Run to the top and destroy the rock, creating a shortcut to the entrance of Coral Tower.
Losing in any of the first three battles will kick players out of the Coral Tower, where they have to start from the beginning and repeat all the fights. Unlocking the shortcut before the final fight allows you to skip the previous fights and immediately start at the fourth one, allowing you to rest on the bench outside the memory if you lose.
Proceed forward to the following room and trigger the fourth fight. Instead of the usual arena, there are only three platforms Hornet can stand on. Additionally, one of them will get destroyed at some point during the fight and reappear later on.
Once the fight is over, use the Silk Soar ability again to fly high into the final arena and meet the Crust King, Khann. The boss will summon spikes from every corner and likes to jump around a lot. Defeat him to get the Encrusted Heart and complete the Heart of Might quest in Silksong.
