How To Reach Whispering Vaults In Silksong

To reach Whispering Vaults in Silksong, enter Cogwork Core from the central room in Choral Chambers. Aim for the right side of the area, as it only has one door that takes Hornet to the Choral Chambers’ rotating wheel bridge. Rotate the bridge to open the path into the Whispering Vaults in Silksong.

There are going to be a couple of complicated platforming puzzles, as you will need to keep hooking onto cogwheels to make it to the next safe ground. Eventually, you’ll reach the eastern chamber and go through the rotating wheel bridge to enter Whispering Vaults in Silksong.

Where To Find The Vaultkeeper In Silksong

You can find the Vaultkeeper in Silksong inside the second room on the right side, the one that has a gramophone inside it. The Vaultkeeper won’t show itself until you get a music cylinder like the Psalm Cylinder, which you can find in the same room. The Psalm Cylinder is in the top right corner of that chamber.

After getting the Psalm Cylinder, go back to the gramophone, and the Vaultkeeper will appear. It will then ask Hornet to give the Psalm Cylinder, and you must choose between accepting or denying them the Psalm Cylinder. It’s better to accept, as the Vaultkeeper will give more info about the Sacred Cylinder, which is what Hornet needs to learn the Vaultkeeper's Melody in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Sacred Cylinder Location In Silksong

To find the Sacred Cylinder in Silksong, you must reach the bottom part of Whispering Vaults. It’s blocked from the top, so you have to go through an entire section of the Underworks area.

Before entering Underworks, you’ll have to fight Trobbio and open a shortcut to the Choral Chambers, which will indirectly connect Choral Chambers to Underworks. After defeating Trobbio, head to the elevator on the right that descends to Underworks.

After reaching the bottom, activate the elevator again, but this time don’t go into it and let it go up. This will reveal an area underneath the elevator that you can follow until reaching the bottom of the Whispering Vaults. From there, it’s easy to head back to Whispering Vaults as the area only has one path with multiple platforming challenges where you need to hook and wall jump your way through.

The first chamber you enter when reaching the bottom part of Whispering Vaults is the one that has the Sacred Cylinder in Silksong. Keep moving left, take the Sacred Cylinder, and head outside. Now, you can remove the obstacle that was blocking the way, travel into the top parts of Whispering Vaults, and reunite with the Vaultkeeper. Give them the Sacred Cylinder to learn the Vaultkeeper's Melody in Silksong.
